Alumni
‘Smriti’,
the TIM Alumni Association, currently has a strength of
above 1000 members, with yearly additions. TIM Alumni are well
placed in the managerial cadre of leading organizations
in India and abroad. They actively contribute to the growth
and development of TIM. Smriti organizes an annual get-together
of the alumni and their families. The Alumni come forward
and contribute whole-heartedly in TIM’s placement efforts.
ALUMNI MEET ‘11
The Annual Alumni Meet (Rendezvous 11) of TIM’S Alumni Association, Smrithi, was held on 18th of December at Hotel Raviz, Kollam. 186 Alumni members with their family members attended the function. The total strength of the gathering was more than 250.
The programme had two sessions, namely, Official Meeting and Cultural Programmes. First session was the regular annual general body meeting of Alumni association, presided by Dr.S.Kevin (Director TIM). Other than the Director, Dr Ratheesh K A (MD, KSIDC), Prof. Abdul Karim Musaliar (Exe. Director TIM), Mr. Sadiq S Thaha (Administrator) TIM) addressed the gathering. Mr.Tharik M, Mr. Manu Mehedi, Mrs. Hanoon fathima, Mr.Shaheer N felicitated the function and shared their experience as Timians. Election of the office bearers for the year 2012 was also held. Prof P. Nissar (Dean, TIM) acted as the presiding officer.

The business meeting was followed by a Buffet Lunch and cultural extravaganza. The next alumni meet will be held on 26th of August 2012, and Ernakulum is being considered as the preferred location for the meet.
